eNB530 4G Wireless Private-network Base Station

The eNB 530 is an LTE private network wireless access device, whose main use is to complete the wireless access functions, including radio resource management such as managing air interfaces, access control, mobility control, and user resource allocation. Flexible distributed design allows it to meet the wireless network construction and communication needs of modern industry users, providing improved coverage and user experiences. The 230MHz eNB530 introduces a new wireless access technology for 3GPP4.5G discrete carrier aggregation, provides flexible bandwidth and a unique modulation scheme and allows fulfillment of service requirements including low power-latency, high data rate, and service isolation/differentiation for QoS.

    Overview

eNB530 is designed with advanced technologies and outstanding performance, and able to effectively reduced the costs of network construction.

    Multiple frequency bands available

    7 Jan 2019
Under TDD, 400M, 1.4G, 1.8G, 2.3G, 2.6G and 3.5G frequency bands are available, while under FDD, 450M, 700M, 800M and 850M are available, being capable of satisfying the needs of the industry for multiple frequency bands. eNB530 especially supports 230MHz narrowband discrete spectrum in power industry, and supports the 12MHz bandwidth from 223 to 235 MHz.

    Distributed architecture

    7 Jan 2019
The distributed architecture is adopted to separate the radio frequency unit (RFU) and the base band unit (BBU) of base station. In addition, fiber-optic links are utilized to minimize the feeder line loss, and this is beneficial to enhancing the coverage of base station. The RFU is no longer confined to the equipment room. It could be flexibly installed with the help of poles, walls, etc., and thus the network construction with “zero equipment room” could be realized. This contributes to a reduction of network construction costs by at least 30% and a significant shortening of network deployment cycle.

    Great performance

    7 Jan 2019
With the 20 MHz bandwidth configuration, the maximum rate of single-cell downlink is 100 Mbps, while that of uplink is 50 Mbps. This will help users in the industry to seize the commanding height of private-network mobile broadband and expand their business scopes.

    Flexible networking

    7 Jan 2019

Multiple variable bandwidths could be used, and thus the needs of users in the industry with different frequency resources could be met. Moreover, various services could be provided by utilizing existing and new frequency spectra. Under a same wireless communication network, it is possible for users to use more than two frequency bands for coverage according to the usage of frequency resources in different regions.

    Energy-efficient green base station

    7 Jan 2019

The eRRU RFU is the main energy-consuming part of private-network base station. The eNB530 introduces the latest advanced hardware design for optimization of power amplifier devices, and innovates the technologies for power amplifier and power consumption management. Therefore, over 40% of energy consumption is reduced compared to similar products in the industry, and this makes it possible to use green energy resources such as solar energy, wind power and marsh gas energy to power the base station.

    Resistance to network paralysis

    7 Jan 2019

eNB530 providesprovides "fault weakening". When any device of core network fails or the transmission from the base station to the core network is interrupted, the base station will activate the CNPU/CNPUb board (shown as ASU on the software) to perform the functions of core network and provide grouping and point call services within the coverage of a single base station.

    IPSec supported

    7 Jan 2019

The eNB 530 supports IPSec security features. An IPSec security gateway is added between base station and core network, and used to establish an IPSec tunnel with the base station to ensure the security of data between base station and core network.

    Smooth upgrade of software

    7 Jan 2019

The eNB530 software management makes an upgrade mechanism and a backtracking mechanism available, allowing operators to upgrade or play back the system in line with eNB530 Upgrade Guideline. This process will enable the protection mechanisms to maximize the switchover success rate and minimize the impact on available resources.

    Real-time monitoring of network status

    7 Jan 2019

eNB530 provides multi-level tracking and monitoring mechanisms, covering user tracking, interface tracking, message tracking, physical layer fault monitoring, link layer fault monitoring and other fault monitoring, so as to offer effective means for troubleshooting. At the same time, the tracking information could be saved as files, and messages subject to historical tracking could be reproduced via tracking review tool.
